PSYCHO (1960)
1h 49m | R | Horror, Mystery, Thriller

Friends of the Orpheum Theatre and Downtown Phoenix Inc. invite you to our annual screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho in celebration of Phoenix Psycho Day!

Psycho famously begins in Downtown Phoenix, where Marion Crane’s fateful decision sets in motion one of the most iconic stories in film history.

When Marion’s journey takes her from Phoenix to the secluded Bates Motel, she encounters its quiet proprietor, Norman Bates—and a mystery where nothing is quite what it seems.

Featuring Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh, Hitchcock’s masterful blend of suspense, psychological horror, and Bernard Herrmann’s unforgettable score makes Psycho as chilling today as it was more than 65 years ago.

Celebrate Phoenix’s place in cinematic history with this legendary thriller on the big screen in the grandeur of the historic Orpheum Theatre, where every shadow feels darker, every note cuts a little deeper, and every screening becomes an event.

Presented by Friends of the Orpheum Theatre and Downtown Phoenix, Inc. All proceeds benefit the historic Orpheum Theatre.
